About Tradie Ladder
Tradie Ladder covers 28 trades across Australia, from electricians and plumbers to bricklayers and building inspectors, with a list for every town, suburb and state where enough tradies are rated.
Every list is a ladder built the same way: the same published method for every business, refreshed on the first of each month.
Tradie Ladder ranks Australian tradespeople by their Google rating, adjusted for how many reviews stand behind it, so five stars from four reviews doesn’t outrank 4.9 from four hundred.
Tradie Ladder is run by the Tradie Ladder team and has been published since 7 October 2026. It lists 64,679 businesses in 3,225 lists, with figures as of October 2026.
Ratings, review counts and opening hours come from Google Business Profiles. The year a business started comes from its own website.
